Thanks for your honest, no punches held advice. My gut feeling is that many of these gurus are selling snake oil. I started taking a self-publishing course a couple of years ago. I found the thing gimmicky and disenrolled before they soaked me for more money.

I think the lesson from the tortoise and the hare is just as relevant for today. There is merit in the consistent daily return to the writer’s desk.
